It is inspiring to see Abigail working independently at Corkbeg in Whitegate. These fundraising rides really do help. With that in mind I am releasing these drawings that I made while I was the Chef at Ciccone's on King Street West in the Fashion District of Toronto.
Four of these pre tour paintings have been sold so far! Thank you to those saavy collectors that have bought so far! Only a limited number left. The Tour starts in two weeks on August 7th and after that this sale will be over!

Background Music!
I worked as a chef for a good portion of my life. The "paint pots" are actually spices and herbs. They were my palette for cooking. In the back splash I replaced the gas pipes for guitar strings and the back itself a fret board. I felt I created art and music while I cooked.

My Trusty Sunbeam Mixer
I did this study of the little sunbeam mixer I used to make Tiramisu. It was done during my stint as a chef at Ciccones. An italian restaurant in the heart of the Fashion District on King St West in Toronto

Measure Up
My tools, a set of knives. My interests, music and art. They are represented by the paint pot spice containers and keyboard in the background. I was 4 years into a five year contract at the time as a chef in an Italian restaurant in Toronto called Ciccone's. I was dreaming of doing something else

Phunky Phone
This beaten and battered phone was the very one I made my orders from and took calls from while working in the kitchen at Ciccones, an Italian Restaurant in the Fashion District of Toronto

Chef's Table
The way out from where I worked as a chef at the italian eatery on king st west in toronto. Ciccones. That little Checker Cloth table was where friends would eat and watch me work, sampling away with little bites of whatever dish was on order.
