This was a productive space for three months in 2021 and 2022 on the Mighty Ottawa River. Thank you to my gracious host Joelle Picard who shared her warm space with me I wanted to paint snow and winter in Canada and more specifically, the Ottawa River. I reached out online through Kijiji and other web platforms looking for someone to rent me a winterised cottage for 3 months so i could absorb a Canadian winter and paint. Lucky for me, Joelle Picard very bravely put her hand up and let me share her space. She gave me a bunkhouse in Walnut Retreat at Ryan's Corner on L'Isle-aux-Allumettes to sleep in and another room where i could set up a studio to paint in. These paintings are a the result of that adventure
