October is a Season of Change
As the fall season rolls in and the leaves change colour, it is time to head back to the land of Maple and inhale the views

Over the summer I have been working on a new collaborative project with Canadian Installation Sculpture artist John Notten we are calling Drive By. Imagine being able to drive through the forests of the Bruce Trail, Southern Ontario and the Ottawa River White Water Region and looking out the passenger window as the seasons change.
As you turn the handle for the window, you advance an 11 foot canvas painting taking you past some stunning scenery through all four seasons. John Notten created the ingenious interactive passenger door from a 1972 Dodge Ram Truck. Over the summer I worked on 11 separate paintings as studies for this piece in preparation for painting the rolling 11 foot canvas.
The trip takes the viewer to the Bruce Trail, first from near Lion's Head on the Bruce Peninsula, taking in the change from winter to early spring as the early buds of trilliums replace the white of snow, past the violets, summer in Bruce Peninsula National Park, fall in Southern Ontario and over to the Ottawa Valley for winter before headin back to Lion's Head to start the journey all over again.
It was a succesful summer in Ireland with shows in Cork, Mallow, Union Hall, Fort Dunree in Donegal and Douglas.
After visiting Elliot Lake in the late spring, I fell in love with the landscape and have decided to make that area my permanent base starting this winter. I hope to continue to travel to Ireland and Europe to interact with the unique geography there.

A sneak peek of some of the paintings that were created for this. They, along with the Interactive Door will be unveiled at the One of a Kind Christmas Show at the Enercare Center in Toronto, November 27th until December 6th
Hope to see you there
