I remember it was so hot and the sun

While on holiday to Belize in Central America I painted this while perched at the end of the dock near the hotel I was staying in.

I remember it was so hot and the sun so strong that I was literally burning up as I painted it.

Even though I was at the onset of sun stroke, I pushed on, trying to capture enough detail that I could use this as a study for future work
