Tour de Munster 640km to raise funds for DS Cork and Abigail
On Thursday August 7th, i will embark on a 600km + journey through all the counties of Munster that will last four days culminating with an ascent of the viciously steep and much vaunted " Patricks Hill " in Cork City. I will be joining 120 cyclists in this, the 25th edition of "the Tour de Munster".

I am taking this challenge on to raise money for Abigail Curtin - O'Connell and Down Syndrome Cork to help them provide much needed services for those affected by this debilitating condition in Cork City.
I am hoping to raise at least €2500 for Abby and Down Syndrome Cork
100% of all the donations i receive will go directly to provide these services.
I personally will cover all of the costs related to doing these cycles which include food, accomodation, cycling gear and training rides which will amount to over €1500.

"Abigail this year is living the best life. Since last tour, cardiac wise, not doing as well. We are on home oxygen a bit and checks ups in Dublin are more frequently... yesterday's appointment went as well as we could ask. No deterioration since last visit in Feb .
Abigail has a new cousin Evie who she loves so much and gives her a sense of fun and responsibility it seems.
She has done a work experience in local coffee shop, Corkbeg coffee, and it was so emotional to see her working quite independently in the community.
Lots of nights out to opera house concerts this year as packing in as much fun as we can. We had Giovanni and Kai from strictly . Nathan Carter with the Middleton youth club gang who all have down syndrome and are such a fun group to be with on a Friday night . . .
Holidays next Saturday for 2 weeks! We are off to France and so looking forward to spending quality time together as a family.xx"
