Riding the rough sea - safe or in danger?

Done exclusively with a palette knife and oil paint. This image is one of those that started with a free stroke of color. I wanted to try and capture the sky on the edge of a storm. Which edge I am not sure, I will leave that up to you. There was no reference for this, it was all from the inner soul. It was all about the mood and how to capture that in a moment of color and palette knife movements.
