I want be in the Group of Eight

While on a canoe trip to Algonquin Provincial Park I was captivated by the colors of the fall trees as they slowly changed from green to a rainbow of reds, yellows and oranges.

This is the first oil painting I had done and is frankly highly influenced by Tom Thompson and the other members of the Canadian painting group known as the Group of Seven.
