Daisy Lake - Algonquin Park
Canoes and Paint - what a way to connect to the land
While on a canoe trip to Algonquin Provincial Park I was captivated by the colors of the fall trees as they slowly changed from green to a rainbow of reds, yellows and oranges.
This is the first oil painting I had done and is frankly highly influenced by the idea of getting into the wilderness to a spot where few people would venture like Tom Thomson and the other members of the Canadian painting group known as the Group of Seven. Share with the world my impression of what you may find, if you would paddle, portage and immerse yourselves
